Lino Prints

Last week i had the pleasure of trying lino print, i wanted to look at print designs and am very aware that screen printing is going to be a bit of a squeeze which is why i looked into other prints. with the lino i wanted the carved effect round it (even if it did take me ages and nearly lost my finger) but i think they have turned out great its much more of a hand crafted feel to it, you can see the mistakes you can see the fingerprints and i think i like this more than a neatly finished crisp design as it just emphasises the craft element to this project.
i also tried some mono printing which came out with such a different effect but still a very tactile quality, however some of them sent missing while they were drying so i shall try and find them and get them up here ASAP.
